We have a HUGE ballot with propositions, local races (mayors, city councils, school boards, and special districts), and the state-wide , and national races. It is nearly impossible for the general voter to know in advance who are the conservatives (or lesser of two evils) on the crowded ballot. They appear as a sea of names listing only a a brief title (teacher, incumbent, business person, etc). I offer my private Voter Guide for Alameda County and for Contra Costa County here. Even so, there are many races in which I simply could not find the data in the newspapers, candidate websites, or candidate statements. My links are at least a first-stop in your own research prior to voting: - Harry Briley, Member of Alameda County Republican Central Committee, AD16 Area.
