Your Tri-Valley Republicans club Program Director (sometimes labeled Vice-President), but I prefer the title Program. The word Program symbolizes to me a gathering, or socializing, meeting new and interesting people, and as such, this position has been a most rewarding endeavor. My initial contact with speakers and their staffs has been warm and accommodating, and it has been my pleasure to invite them to our dinners.
People ask how I find the speakers. Well, there is plenty of information on the public political websites, and many individual podcasts of political and educational people. Those sources lead to other sources which becomes a fun exploration experience.
Since 2015, and thanks to several previous program chairs as well as myself, our club has hosted some great personalities: Shannon Grove, Steve Frank, Melanie Morgan, Senator Mike Morrell, Trevor Loudon, Kevin Kyley, Turning Point USA, Brian Sussman, and along the way, many Republican candidates running for various offices.
