TVR Web Pages for Primary Election Updated
By Harry Briley
04/05/2026 Livermore – Glorious Resurrection Day! The Secretary of State (finally) released the certified list of candidates on 3/26. Up to now, I had to dredge data from my insider sources. With the list of names on the ballot now official, I cleaned up the TVR web pages, removing those names that did not make it to the ballot. There are 12 Republican candidates (down from 20) for Governor.
The California Republican Party (CAGOP), likewise, cleaned up their endorsement’s web page this week and the TVR web pages reflect whom they have endorsed so far. There will be more endorsements after the upcoming CAGOP Convention next week, but for now, the races with a sole Republican tended to get endorsed automatically. I found no CAGOP endorsements for races in Alameda County yet.
Since many local Republicans want to know my own personal endorsements, I flagged those candidates with (HB). Since TVR cannot make election endorsements, these reflect my own personal and privately-held opinion. Take or ignore as you see fit. My opinions do not reflect official TVR sentiment.
